This is Mrs. Dreistadt's sixth year teaching. She received her Bachelor's degree from Duquesne University for Middle Level Education. In 2018, she completed her Master's degree for Special Education Birth-Grade 8.
She began her career in Florida teaching 7th grade remedial and advanced English Language Arts. She later returned to Pittsburgh and worked as a Makerspace Preschool teacher.
Since her return to public education, she has taught 5th grade math and science, 6th-8th grade ELA, Social Studies, and Special Education.
She absolutely loves to be outside with her one year old going for walks and hikes! Her other hobbies include playing with her two dogs, reading, and playing basketball.
This is Mrs. Busowski's fifth year teaching in the Diocese of Pittsburgh. She has taught 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts. Additionally, she has experience teaching grades 9-12 English as well as both private and in person SAT prep classes.
Mrs. Busowski received her Bachelor's Degree in Secondary English from Robert Morris University and is currently working on her Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Point Park University.
In her free time, Mrs. Busowski enjoys playing with her dog (Remy Sue), working out to Beachbody, reading anything she can get her hands on, and watching her favorite Netflix shows.
This is Mrs. Marshall's sixth year teaching. She is currently certified in two states for teaching grades K-6, Pennsylvania and Michigan.
Mrs. Marshall received her Bachelor in Elementary Education from Clarion University. She continued her professional development and went to the University of Pittsburgh for her Reading Specialist certification.
Mrs. Marshall has spent the majority of her time teaching in the fifth and sixth grade. She has taught all subjects in her career including ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Writing.
Mrs. Marshall is an energetic, upbeat and motivating teacher! When she isn’t in the classroom she loves to be outdoors with her husband, Matt. She is also a certified personal trainer and loves to be doing anything that involved being active. Mrs. Marshall can't wait to meet you!
Mrs. Moon graduated in 2019 from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah where she studied Secondary Math Education and K-12 Dance Education.
She has her certification in both subjects in the state of Utah, and just moved to Pittsburgh one year ago.
She has experience teaching in an 8th grade math classroom, tutoring at Mathnasium (ages 4-17), doing private math tutoring, and has been teaching dance for 7 years.
She loves to be in the classroom teaching!
In her free time Alli can be found playing board games with family and friends, baking, reading, going on walks with her son, and of course dancing in the kitchen.
This is Mr.LaSpada's 12th year teaching. He has taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math, as well as Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry. He was a substitute teacher at all grade levels k-12 for 2 years, taught high school for 3 years and middle school for 6 years, 7 including the upcoming year.
Mr. LaSpada earned his Bachelor's in Secondary Mathematics at Waynesburg University.
Mr.LaSpada loves to include humor in everything he does and gets as much joy from making others laugh as he does helping them to master mathematics. He is also an avid Tough Mudder participant and loves bringing that level of enthusiasm, motivation, and camaraderie to his classroom.
In his free time, he loves playing video games, completing home improvement projects, and hanging out with his wife, daughter, and two dogs.
